Lich

Liches are regarded as an especially evil type of undead. They look similar to Zombies but are much more powerful and capable of casting magic, drawing life energy from living beings and controlling lesser forms of undead. Lichdom is usually achieved voluntarily by necromancers who prepare their own bodies shortly before death and convert them into negative magical energy while maintaining the cohesion of spirit.
