The long-awaited Update 38 and Necrom Chapter have hit The Elder Scrolls Online PTS today. In addition to the Arcanist class and the Telvanni Peninsula zone, a lot of new Crown Store items have been added to the files, and in this post we will take a look at their promotional banners.
With this datamine, we are finally getting a preview of the contents of the Unfeathered Crown Crates, which were first announced as part of the Shadow Over Morrowind reveal in January. It seems that this is the next Crown Crate season that will be available after the current Ragebound one ends in late June or early July. The Unfeathered Radiant Apex mounts will likely be the Ahz-m'Athra, Auroran Polychrome Wolf and Legion Zero Sabre Cat.
The new files also include art for two more Crown Crate seasons: Buoyant Armigers and All-Maker. The Buoyant Armigers Crates were already datamined with the Scribes of Fate DLC so chances are they will be available earlier, in Q3. That leaves the All-Maker Crates as the likely Q4 season.
Among other notable mounts in this update are a new quasigriff (Baysong Quasigriff), a vvardvark mount (Hivethief Vvardvark) and the Apocrypha-themed Duskfall Welwa.
There is a usual selection of new non-combat pets, adornments, markings, emotes and furnishings, including the Hermaeus Mora statue. There is one new costume as well, the Dwemerdelve Scavenger.
There are also three new houses this time, all of which should be currently available for testing on PTS: Emissary's Enclave, Journey's End Lodgings (an inn room in Necrom) and The Fair Winds (an actually moving ship).
It looks like we are not getting that many new Crown Store outfit styles with this update. The ones added for now are the Dreugh Queen, Unfeathered and Truth and Logic styles. The former two will likely be available in the Unfeathered Crates.
Finally, there are three new skins (Do'Krin Ascetic's Henna, Glowgill Guarhide and Shivering Isles Anointment) and two new polymorphs (Lich and Armor of the Unfeathered). One of the skins will likely be in the Unfeathered Crates and the Armor of the Unfeathered polymorph will be bundled with 25 Crates the same way the Shade polymorph is currently bundled with 25 Ragebound Crates for 8,000 Crowns.
